“Beauty is in the details”

Beauty is in the details.

Even with a marvellous design,

true beauty cannot be achieved if the details are neglected.

Refinement comes through many layers of beautiful details.

Let’s explore the essence of Grand Seiko’s beauty.

The lion, known as the king of beasts, serves as the symbol of Grand Seiko, reflecting the brand’s commitment to creating the very best timepiece in terms of accuracy, durability, legibility, and beauty.

The Tokyo Lion series, which embodies the lion’s dignity and majesty, now welcomes a new sports watch: the Tokyo Lion Tentagraph, equipped with the Calibre 9SC5 mechanical chronograph movement.

The watch’s dynamic dial, evoking the flowing mane of a lion as it waves in the wind, and the bold case design, resembling powerful claws carved from a solid block of metal, perfectly symbolise this model. The bowl-shaped, three-dimensional sub-dials at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions provide another distinctive feature. The watch’s newly developed rubber strap has a tensile strength of nearly 2.7 times that of the typical silicone strap used in Grand Seiko and offers a secure and comfortable fit.
